In case you missed it in Law 360, attached is an article we wrote with the enormous contribution of our associates Isabella Lacayo, Jesse Morris, Melody Akhavan and Lisa Sokolowski, looking back at some of the significant developments in product liability law in 2013. The article discusses issues concerning — to name a few — hydraulic fracturing, class actions, and the False Claim Act. Given the significance of the issues addressed, they are likely to remain hot topics in 2014 and warrant close attention by practitioners, companies whose business may be impacted by these issues, and anyone with an interest in this area of law and policy. We here at the Monitor are looking forward to what the new year has in store and will continue to report and comment on these and other important developments. Thanks for your continued support.
